Joel has for years been attempting to play cello and double bass at the same time. Finally he has come up with the solution. The Jellobass is a brand new instrument designed by Joel and made by joel and Otis Tomas that combines the cello and the double bass in one instrument.

After three months of playing and adjusting the Jellobass Joel now performs arrangements and accompanies himself and others. This was a performance online that went out through our local village hall during lockdown and managed to attract over 14 thousand views.

Sanding the ribs to a good thickness for bending . . . got the front and back glued to the ribs.
